I have a 2000 W reg T4 1.9 TDi which has developed a fault on the rev counter.
Basically regardless of how steady my revs are the needle either jumps about or on occasion indicates zero before suddenly coming to life. It seems to me to be a classic contact problem somewhere in the wiring; my problem is that I have no manual and have no idea where to look, colours, locations etc.
If anyone has any ideas or advice i'd really appreciate it. It's not so bad during the day but at night the red needle flying about is really distracting.
