Hi,
I have just gone armed with VAgCAt diagram to dealer and purchased all I need to replace the flexi charge pressure pipe(lugs had broken)and to remove and clean the EGR and intercooler.
I am now a little confused and not sure I have correct fittings for the pipe from EGR to inlet manifold .Mine appear to have a nut with a collar when I look at them on car but on vagcat and in my bag of goodies i have a torx headed screwbolt.
Can anyone confirm i have wrong bits-have these nuts a collar or were these a lock nut now so badly corroded they look round!Could be hell of a job to get off successfully.
