A3 2.0TDi hissing sound ( induction ?)

I have owned my ex company car ( 125000) for 3 months without any problems, but now it has started making a loud hissing type noise when accelerating and smokes between gear changes, the emission control light has just come on, any help ?

Sounds like one of the pipes has come off.
Check your intake hoses !
