1997 A4 Estate SE Auto 1.8. Wondering if anyone can help me. Every now and then when i pull away with little throttle the gears just hang on and hang on before they eventually decide to change when i am screaming the daylights out of it.
Could this be a sensor problem of some sort??
Also recently the car refuses to start, just a short rev then dies. I've had a new key cut with chip in which was ok for a week, but today in the hot weather it didn't want to play again.
Any help on both of these would be most appreciated as i'm starting to get real cheesed off with it now as i really do enjoy the car apart from this.
