:fing02: Nice wheels! I don't think those were a North American option.

There are two 10 spoke options in the UK - the standard 10 spoke alloys or the bi-colour alloys - which would be my preference

If shipping weren't so costly I bet a lot of folks in North America would swap you. We see mostly 7 arm alloys on the 2.0T and the 10 spoke bi-colour on the 3.2.

the attached photo probably gives you the best view on the wheels - they look good on the phantom black cars, but not so good on silver or grey - I prefer the bi-colours on those. We have a long waiting list - I found mine through Audi UK - it was 9 months old - so I reasoned it was better to buy on ethat fitted my spec closely rather than order a new one. TT's are in demand in the UK and the plant in Hungary can't keep up with the demand for right hand drive cars - so we wait at least 6 months for a new car orderd to spec. I was lucky - I have looked on the Audi UK bsite since buying mine and have only seen a few similar spec cars. I have heard the TTS right hand drive allocation is already sold out for the first 3 months.2633

The only thing missing that I need is a factory BT kit. I'm thinking about installing the FISCON basic http://fiscon-mobile.com/products/fis.phpas it works seamlessly with the Symphony head unit and steering wheel controls.

One delight is the astonishingly good fuel consumption. :approve: I traded up from a 2 litre normally aspirated 8 valve Beetle. That rarely did more than 30 mpg. :( This TT averaged 42 mpg on a 50 mile trip from Brigend to Bristol and regularly turns in mid 35+ on mixed county, motorway and town trips. :D It seems so tame and refined most of the time and then every thing changes when the devil kicks in :aargh4: :biglaugh:

Whoa...long time no posting for me!

I picked her up on November 11 and have been driving her all winter. Here's a really nice dirty picture!

It is hard to see the exact colour from the photo...I sympathise with the winter problem - I am in Edmonton at the moment...the roads suck with all the grit they put down...

http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/picture.php?pictureid=1447&albumid=410&dl=1244298234&thumbHey, Just joined the site today.. Well i got my 2008 TTS imported from germany to France (living there at the moment). No regrets at all.. what a car... fully kitted with 19" alloys, colour sat nav, with bluebooth, parking sensors, cruise control, colour coded full leather trim, and a whole lot more.. Was actually hard to find a manual version as most seem to want the S-Tronic.. cant say i like it.. prefer the old fashioned way!
