I Have purchased an S Line boot badge to match the rear door badges. I'm just wondering officially, where the position should be for these? Under the 2.0 TDI?

I have the A4 on teh left and the 2.0 TDI on teh right as standard:

I didnt think the S-Line came from the factory with a S-line badge on the boot?

Mine has a grille badge and one on each of the rear doors and thats it.

oh I see. I wonder if it would look good with one under the 2.0 TDI? what do you think?

Hmmm hard to say, It might look a little 'busy', Under the 'TDI' bit if you must fit it I guess.

Try mocking it up first to see what its like.

From Germany the badges are only on the grill and side... not on the rear...

To be honest... I would not bother with the S-Line badge on the rear..

I'm with Rick here, I woudn't bother with the S-Line badge on the boot.

But... if I was going to fit it I would take the 2.0TDi off and put it in its place ;)

Paul :)

Actually, I would just take them all off and leave it naked!! Keep 'em guessing I say ;)

I recognise that garage door!

Did you get your car from Pioneer Automotive? I was drooling over some of their A3's and A4's a while ago, they only seem to have top quality stuff there.. that said, the salesmen seem the usual bunch of merchant bankers!

I have the same car, and took all the badges off the back, was really easy
just heated them up with a hair dryer then pealed them off.
Then got some nail polish remover [ its all i could find ] to take off the sticky mess, then used some g3 or you could used some sort of cutting polish to clean up the slight fading from the badges.
Job done:beerchug: I will post up a pic later.
This way no one knows what engine you have.

Debadged mine as well.

Far easier to keep clean.

Thats odd, as dealers charge for de badged cars, maybe he wanted to let everyone know what he had!

EVO mag ran a story of an M5 owner with his car badged 518i

Now you don't often get BMW drivers with a sense of humour!!
