Hi there,
Has anybody used the Sealey code reader VS862? for £146.98 inc
GSF and others sell them .

looking for something to re set the service intervals and clear the longlife thing on my passat.

I have tryed the buttons on the dash,like my old Golf but the longlife thing takes over.

Try this it works for my Passat, sets 10,000 mile service intervals.
Passat from 2001 onwards (B5.5): Ignition off.
Press and hold down button "A" (trip reset).
Ignition on.
The words "SERVICE NOW" will appear in the trip computer display.
Turn button "B" (clock adjust) to the right to reset the display. Turn Ignition off.
