Coding: 0007141

Shop #: WSC 07040
00??xxx: Options I
+00 = 1. K-Number (Europe/USA/Rest of World)
+01 = Smaller Fuel Tank Volume (All-Wheel-Drive)
+02 = Side Marker Lights Indicator Lamp inactive
+04 = 3. K-Number (Rental Cars)
+08 = 2. K-Number (Australia)
+16 = Clutch Pedal Switch Operation in FIS Displaycomes to: +00 +01 +02 +04 = 07!!!
why is that? What is Rental Cars? wasn't my car new?

Hey,

Not sure what rental cars means, but just checked my auto scand and my A4 has a coding of 0004441, so I've got both K-Number's.
Checked the courtesy car I've got too, an 07 A4 2.0 TDi and its coding is 0006418 so it's apparently one of these "Rental cars" too!
Bit bizarre, but hey!!

Thanks for the reply!
I suppose my dealer sold me a used car for a pre-registered one!
