VW Golf sweet plasticky smell

I have a 1.9tdi Golf which 6 month old. Every time I get in there's this sweet sickly plasticky smell. it goes away after I have driven 100yards. Any ideas?

id say its just the new car smell and is likely to fade after a while? its under warranty, so dont worry! give it a couple of months and a couple of cleans/washes later, if the smell still persists and is to an extent where it is no longer bearable, contact the supplying dealer.
