:( If any one has the 4 cylinder petrol motor, mines an august 2001 model, & dosent use audi service centres, beware of new advice. The service book refers to belt changes at 130k, however, mines only done 60k & audi tell me I need to change the belts as they have found deterioration in cars coming up to 5 yr old.
So no matter how low the milage, 5yrs is a change point. Mind you at £300.00 I wouldnt blame you if you did use independant dealers!

Jeez Rick, they saw you coming. Hadwins Audi (Cumbria) quote £295.60 all in including vat. I have noticed when I was using BMW (always had BM's up untill this year) that my mates in Manchester were paying a third extra on labour than here in cumbria. It may be that Audi work on the same geographical payscales. I personally think it stinks and there shouls be a flat rate throughout the country.Hate to think what theyd charge in London.

i agree.. Audi Huddesfield, Leeds and Bradofrd charge £105 per hour for all labour now.... bit of a joke really...

Hence the more and more "German" car specialst garages which are appearing!!
