Hi, I have been registered for a while and thought I would post a thread.
Have VW's only all my life, currently have a 99 Passat and just bought a Caravelle TDi 00 plate for a second vehicle.
The electric door mirrors do not work on the Caravelle and I am trying to get the door trim off to check if the switch has failed or the fault is elsewhere in the circuit.
So far founf one pozidrive screw and the three for the door handle. The trim panel in the door still seems very firm and I am not brave enough to force.
Any suggstions gratefully received ?
BTW Just used Wonder Wheels on the wheels which were in poor condition and very dirty, excellent alloy wheel cleaner, can thoroughly reccomend.
