Hi Guys,
I'm looking for someone with VAG-COM and the know how to do the following on an Audi A4 B6:
Auto lock doors after a certain low speed.
Unlock drivers door first then with a second press, all other doors.
Chirp when locking the car.
Interior dash lights on all the time.
Let me know if you can help and I can pay you in Beer!

the first 3 are simple adaptations via vagcom or a diagnostic tool.
number 4 is more than likely going to require an edit of the eeprom (vagtacho or vag can commander will be required)

No, I'm pretty sure I have read that you can change a coding in Coding 17- Insturments to set either nothing lit up, needles only lit up, scala (Numbers) only lit up or both needles and scala lit up.
I will try and hunt out the correct coding for it.

It would be nice if you posted the source, in this case:
http://en.openobd.org/audi/a4_8e.htm#17
Note: Illumination Option 3 works on early B6 A4 models, but not necessarily on some of the later ones.

Hi Uwe,
I would gladly have posted the source if I had been able to find it, I have a copy of this in notepad hence the lack of reference. Many thanks for putting up the link though, I have now added this to my favourites ;)
And Mucho Gracias Dan for your kind rep donation!! ::beerchug::

Great, I had a leon cupra before the audi and this had the lights on all the time. Surprising what stupid little things you miss!

Does anyone know how to make this same change on the A3(8P), or the Golf Mk5 ("same" car).
