when you say isnt ticking over what you mean, like it wont idle properly and wont maintain the constant rpm?

yeah i have the same problem, mines carb tho, ive just last week taken it off and cleaned it, its a little better but the same happens, when cold its runs crap but when its warm it doesnt cut out but wont steadily tick over, i had put this problem down to my inlet manifold leak i have because when the leak is sprayed with carb cleaner the revs pick up alot.

i thought it could be a inlet manifold drawing in air but then it wouldnt cut out would it? wouldnt it idle correctly like you say?
