my golf m4 loses power

hi guys my golf gt tdi 1.9 m4 loses power on motor way but it only does once a while it doesnt go more than 70 miles an hour when i stop the car for 2 hours it becomes ok like i said it only happens once a while what can it be?please help me thanks
