a4 2002 tdi Aerial amplifier

just removed my aerial amplifer from my audi a4. tried my friends Aerial amplifier and it work fine. does anyone know where i can buy a good second hand one from chester area. tried audi and they quoted me too much for a new one. need help please all users :1zhelp:

Hi Jason, I have been trying to locate where the amplifier is on my A4 - I would really appreciate it if you could let me know where it is located and how to take it out.

The amp is located at the top of the rear window under a plastic trim - check your earth tab on it as they tend to corode and fall off.

Thanks for the advice Eclipse, I will certainly check the earth wire. I have put up with the loss of FM for long enough however I do still have AM. But with a Bose system fitted and unusable (apart from the CD) it needs sorting!
