:1zhelp: Hello,
I'm in one of those "Replace one bit at a time, hope it works..." scenarios with a car that's getting seriously frustrating!!
Basically, when my automatic transmission can't make it's mind up, which gear to be in, it appears to jump rapidly up & down between gears, causing the car to judder like a bad mis-fire. It must be going thru a menopause - or something...!!! :aargh4:
In the last two months I've been through the following:-
New Plugs £50 - car ran poorly again soon after.
New Lambda sensor (included in independant service) £160 - NO difference!
New Air Mass Meter (VW dealer fit) £162 - Motor runs better - Big Juddering persists!!
Auto Transmission Fluid Change (VW dealer) £98 - Juddering Persists!!
I feel my VW dealer will try one thing at a time, give my car back for me to find out if it's cured, then wait for me to book it in again for the next 'possible' fix. This is a pain!
Has anybody any experience with Autos & can give any advice, please??
I fear a dealer strip-down could mean selling my mother!! :1zhelp:
