I Recently purchased a 1999 110 TDI with the intention of converting it to run a diesel veg twin tank kit see here for details (http://www.dieselveg.com/vw_passat.htm) Just wondering if anyone on here has done it and how their cars run.
A mate converted his Vito using this kit a few months ago and is reaping the rewards of only having to pay for a splash of diesel every journey (for start up/turn off) and it smells good too :D I have a source for used fat which is FOC so hoping to turn my £250 a month fuel bill into a tenner a month.
