A4 Cab roof cleaning tips for mildew

Can anyone recommend how to best clean the roof? First wash to get rid of neighbours cat hairs (no claw marks so cat is still alive.... just! :mad:) and noticed a bit of mildew on the bottom edge near the screen.
I've bought some Turtle Wax 2 stage cleaner and protector from HellFrauds but wondered if I need to prep the roof first

Hi mate.

I used Renovo products as they are supposed to stop the mildew - returning see here (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=24532).

Then its best to protect the canvas after, so the rain etc doesn't soak in so much. It will get wet if it rains allday but most the time the water just beeds off like a new roof :)
