Audi A4 Trip Computer

I've got a 2005 model A4 3.0 Quattro Cabriolet which I bought secondhand. The vehicle originated in America but I have now registered it on the road in France.

I need the display to be changed to give the trip in kilometres not miles. Is there an easy way to do this or is it a visit to a dealer?

Recode the instrument cluster, there is a digit which represents the country and therefor incorporates the changes you desire.
