Does anyone know how to switch the xenon lights over to LHD for driving on the continent?

Thanks

I've literally just got an answer back on this one.

If the car is an 07 chassis number or newer, the lights are adjusted electronically via a diagnostics computer, for which this particular dealer quoted an hour's labour (half hour to adjust before going, and again when you get back), which was £110+VAT.

If the car is older, there is a lever under the light unit, and to get access to that, they need to remove the wheelarch lining, for which they would charge 2 hours labour (an hour at either end of the trip)...

Either way you're screwed - if you don't get it done you can't drive in the dark when you're abroad, and if you do get it done you can't drive in the dark over here............ Hardly useful.

Thanks for the advice. Mine is on a '55 plate so maybe it can be adjusted manually. I will see if I can do it myself.

Thanks again

No problem. Hopefully it will be relatively easy for you to do - good luck...
