ADF engine information please.

Hi

I hope this is the correct bit of the forum to post this in.

Im looking for some information on the VW ADF industrial engine, basically ive got 3 of these engines in forklifts & I need to change the timing belts on them all.

Ive looked on Autodata but it doesnt list the ADF engine, does anybody know which other VW lump is in the same family as the ADF so I can use that engines information instead to help me.

Its a single overhead cam, straight 4 cylinder 1.8 petrol water cooled lump, water pump is not driven by the cambelt but by the alternator belt if that helps id it.

do you have an service manual from the ADF engine ?

Just think of it as a Golf 2 EZ engine but the carb is a 1B3, not a 2E2.
