hi all, new user to this forum.

I'm looking for some advice on my toledo (2003)

Last week I topped up the oil and ever since the check engine light has been on. is this directly related to the oil or just coincidence? the oil level with the dipstick is just above max

I tried to drain some oil but dont really know which bolt to undo as there are two bolts the same size next to each other where I presume the oil drain bolt is

any help is greatly appreciated!

Rgds, Danny

oil level, i have read, is important but to remove such a small amount it may be easier to remove the oil filter and tip it out. you may have to do this a few times but if you don't know where the sump plug is probably the best option.
sorry, don't mean to sound nasty,
