New Scirocco - door handles

Just viewed the Geneva show pics. Can't believe those crass d.i.y looking door handles! What happened to those cool extending handles on the iroc?

there the same door handles as the passats, shares quite a few things from cars in the range aswel, eos dash aswel as the mirrors ect. prob just did it for cost cutting as they usually do
