Hatch Glass Removal

Can anyone tell me the easiest way of removing the seal that holds the glass in. i.e from the inside of window or outside, i've had a few tugs at it today from both sides but bottled it just incase i ended up breaking the glass or ripping the rubber,
any help is much appreciated.cheers

To remove glass you will need to do it from the inside, you will also need some strong
nylon cord (a little bit smaller in diameter than a pencil) which you need to push between the rubber seal and the hatch all the around the window and overlap where the ends meet, spray with WD40 to lubricate (don't use washing up liquid because it has salt in it...not good on old cars !) then start to push glass out... it will be a bit stiff at first but will get easier as you work your way round... good luck
