Struggle To Start?!

I have a 1.4CL 8vavle Multipoint injection Polo on a 97 P that has done 61k
My car some times is a real big struggle to start! It cranks and cranks, after about 5-7 seconds of cranking if you tap the throttle it fires up but only to give a almost flooded engine!
I have a few times taken off my air box and got some injection cleaner and cleaned it up, she is then fine for a few weeks but then the problem persists.
Its starting to worry me as i don't want to burn my starter motor out too as that is more money and time to fit which i don't have :biglaugh:.


Could this mean that the throttle body is starting to give up?

I have replaced all the plugs and leads the but the problem is still there!


Any advice would be appreciated greatly
