Suspension help!! Which tyres?

Is there a way of soften up my suspension in my 2005 ALTEA. Ride is too crashy. Can anybody recommend shocks for this model. And also tyres are very loud at speed theres no name on them, so will replace them which ones should i pick. I have 16" alloys and was thinkin of Continental sport contact 2. Any thoughts will be very helpfull.:1zhelp:

Hi mocuishe,
I fitted Uniroyal Rallye 550and they seem much quieter than the originals All as per recommended by Which magazine and at £62 each they were cheaper than many so called better tyres form Bestbuy tyres online and get delivered to and fitted at local garage all easy peasy!!!;)
