We are fixing a 2007 Flying Spurt. The keyless works with starting engine, lock/unclock the doors but not the boot. We checked on electric wire from the trunk latch down to control modules. Evething is fine. We also replaced the trunk lid control module but still, no hope. Please help....

Hello!!! I had one of these and you could order a Valet key when you bought the car. It was programmed not to open the boot or the glove box and looked very similar to the normal key. Maybe check you've got the right key!!! Steve.

Maybe tie a piece of string to the trunk latch -drill a few holes through the back seats-- insert a few rubber grommits Colour to suit the leather seats --of course)--thread the string through-and fix a curtain ring on the other end - . One pull- and 'hey presto' --It will never let you down.
B and Q do balls of string- -so- no need to worry about 'spare parts' in the future .:biglaugh:

Hi, I think you have put the car into Valet mode. You can change this by reprogamming, check users manual.

The bentley GT has aerials in the front and rear interior and behind the rear bumper, each for keyless entry. The front 2 aerials could be ok, which is why you can start the car via keyless and open and close, but the rear bumper one may have failed. Need to check fault codes and wiring from keyless entry ecu to aerial.
