Guys

I have on order a new B8 A4 which comes with the new MMI system as on the A6.

I want to look at integrating an Ipod Link to the MMI system and it seems that the Dension looks like the one to go for http://www.dension.com/icelinkgateway500.php

I was also looking at a Parott Bluetooth Kit such as CK3100 http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/ha...its/ck3100-lcd (http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/hands-freecarkits/ck3100-lcd) which in turn comes with a link cable to the MMI system.

Does anyone know if I can go for both these options? Will I be able to plug in to the MMI system or will I only be able to do one or the other as you can only use one link?

Finally i have found this cable from the US http://www.gnetcanada.com/navvideo-models-gnetaudia6a8.asp which allows for AV input in to the MMI screen such as reverse camera, DVD etc. Does anyone have any experience of this unit or any others similar!

Thanks

[Hi sir ,
i am an audio enthusiast with a diverse background in SQ and SPL sound systems and so far with regards to the MMI and DENSION products the fitting of the ipod has been a relatively straight forward plug and play.
I dare say that a person with a basic understanding of electrical gadgets can accomplish this with relative ease.
They also do a connection , as i have used due to adding various items to the MMI , whereby the ipod will be played back through the changer on disc 6.
Also Dension products come with a decent instruction set and web backup.

also look at KUFATEC for alternatives and other trick connectors.

I have recently put A6 MMI / sat nav into my MK4 Golf using KUFATEC products and knowhow and this was pretty straightforward and completed in under 90 mins excluding some fine trimming and detailing.

Hope this helps a little.

You completed an A6 MMI install in under 90 minutes??

Do you have any details/pictures of the install?

Or was it an RNS-E and not an MMI system you installed?
