Hi,
Car has been in for a service today and Seat wanted £42 to replace the wiper blades. I did a bit of research and lots of suppliers are raving about the new Aero flat blades. Does anyone have any experience of these? Are they any good and what are they like to fit? Other forums suggest sandpaper needed to shave mm's off so they fit.
Any help/advice gratefully appreciated

I can do Valeo wiper blades, which are OE for these cars, these would cost £32.00 a set, plus postage, but I think they may get damaged if theyt were posted :(

They are the same as Seat supply, just in a Valeo box instead of a Seat one ;) I have the same model car and have them fitted to mine..

What size are the Leon mk1 front blades? Would the sparco aero blades fit or PIAA ones?

You can probably get them from any decent motor factors, and maybe even Halfords :)

Hi there,

I upgraded to aero wiper blades on my mk1 leon...I got them for approx £25max from VW - the part number is 1J2998002 - the new blades are the much better floppy aero type & were a huge improvement over the OEM kit & still VAG.
