hi there
thought i would post this up here as it seems the place for this Q
ive been haveing probs with my caddy 1.9 sdi v reg .i got mayself a fault code reader and its giveing me the "throttle posistion varible resistor" " throttle potentiometer " code we took it out gave it a clean up and put it back in and its still the same no throttle repsone i later read that you have to recalabrate them? is this right, im about to order a new one and was wondering if it will still need to be recalabrated or if it will work right away once pluged in..its proveing hard for me to find a mobile vag com in my area. basically im just needing to know if i have to plug in into vagcom once the new " throttle potentiometer " is installed.
