Common Audi A3 2.0 TDI Problems

HEard the batch of 53/54's Audi A3 2.0 TDI has had many problems such as the Head Gasket, Cylinder head.

What other problems has this batch had?

Engine temperature sensors are prone to failure, mine went (fixed under warranty) and a mates went 2 weeks after going out of warranty!

Its cylinder head not the gasket,hells bells man.And as i told you it only occurs on certain heads and mostly 2005 2.0 oil burners as for other common issues the turbos are very common for failure and the tandem pump mixes fuel and oil and intake shut off motor fails,apart from that there ok.Buy a 2.0 tfsi there solid and return similar mpg.I stiil cant under stand this love of diesels when the tfsi engine is so good and problem free,must be something to do with saving a small amount at the pumps but paying more for the car in the first place.
