Steering wheel "S3" badge" - fitting???

I've just purchased a S3 badge for the steering wheel on my Audi A3 sport diesel (2005 05 plate).

Has anyone fitted one of these before? I've had a go, but am making a bit of a mess with it, so was just wondering if anyone has any handy tips???

Hi Matt...

Personally I wouldn't do it. The S3 Steering wheel is completely different and the badges on them are recessed. I would imagine youre steering wheel has no recess for the S3 badge anyway.

If it aint an S3 don't bother.
Try going for an S-Line steering wheel with the red stitching, although on the A3's the s-line badge isn't usually there, they are more on A4, 5 and 6's.

Also I worked at Audi last year and the worst thing was someone who had tried a DIY job on their car, very difficult to sell and devalued the car a lot because we had to replace with original parts.

I have to agree with naughts4187, an S3 badge wont make your car an S3.

You've got a nice car mate, I would stick with the OEM look!
