as previously stated my daughter is in a wheelchair and im know thinking of purchasing a transporter t4 (thanks for the advice ) my question now is what is the best engine the 1.9 or the 2.5 ie regarding performance reliability mpg ect hope you can help

hi. i had a 1.9 for 4 years and its a good engine, very reliable and really good mpg. i now have a 2.5 tdi and the difference is vast. its much quieter and smoother to drive. if you have the option go for the 2.5 but get service history on the engine, you will have lots of choice of these models so take your time in choosing. remember that 100,000 miles is nothing for these engines. i hope you find a good one

That's the one I had in my T4. 102hp, relaible, powerful and gave good economy too.
Look for the all chrome TDi badge on the back doors and front grille.
