Hi,

My girlfriend has a 2006 Polo GTi with a broken cigar lighter. Can anyone provide me with the part number so I can source a replacement, and if possible instructions of how to fit?

Sorry if it's a bit cheeky on a first post, but I am a BMW owner (boo, hiss) and just trying to help out my girlfriend.

Many thanks in advance.

Jim :D

... if you dont know please can you point me in the direction of a site where I could get this info? I have been searching for half a day (obviously in the wrong places) and it seems very difficult to find.

Thanks

1J0 919 307 9B9 £7.99 for the hot bit and the socket is 1J0 919 309 and costs £4.55. A bit of a git to get out but the new one just clips in.

Nice one, it's the hot bit I need... (it's for the polo GTi, right... see my title cockup LOL)... Can you point me in the direction of where I can buy one from, or is it a main dealer jobbie?

Thanks again!

J

P.S. Any tips on getting it out (cant see the car right now, so not sure if it is obvious)? Is it just a case of pulling or do I need tools?

From a VW dealer. Why did you need to know how to fit it, they just pop in and out?

LOL... sorry, I really need more coffee, I meant it's the main internal bit I need, not the hot bit... sorry! Dunno what's wrong with me today!
