Hi all im a new member and this is my first post.

Had an A3 Sport BKD 140 TDI about a month and trying to resolve the dreaded idle judder! 53 plate 87K. Very annoying as I love the car!

Seen many posts on this but none solving the problem.
Dont believe its the DMF, as my problem is when its up to temp(perfect when cold) and clutch up/down makes no difference also no clutch judder. Anyone know if below technical bulletin ECU update is relavent/works from Audi??(Taken from Elsawin for VW Golf V TDI)
Would try to up idle slightly with Vagcom but cant find a guide to do this on mine that works? Anyone done it on this BKD engine?

Already tried
Disconnecting MAF
Disconnecting fuel temp sender
Replacing injector wiring loom under rocker cover.
checked coolant temp sensor (warms up gradually to 80 -90C)
scanned for faults (nothing on engine just instrument cluster prob)
Cambelt just done was same before.
None have made any difference.

Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks!

We have same prob apart from ours actually cuts out usually when engine is cold. Ours is DSG so more difficult to control

did you get to bottom of this?

the only thing thats improved ours is increased idle speed.

whats yours set at?

Thanks

well tried the new coolant temp sender and its still the same
so now looking towards the fuel pump side of things now..although the car seems to run slightly better its still very lumpy at tick over.
I will keep you posted if i get any further.
