Hi all,

I have just purchased a Audi A3 2.0 Tdi Sport 54 plate, and the front tyres look pretty worn, has anyone got any suggestions on the best tyre to get for it?

Hi Phil 87
I have just fitted Good Year tyres to mine and am impressed. The noise level is good and a recent survey, I think from Auto Express, rated them best tyre overall. Perhaps not best in every category, but certainly in the wet and overall scoring. My local garage owner also fits them on his car, so that says alot.

Michelin Pilot Primacy's are a very good all rounder. (Excuse the pun) :D

my yokohamas run a bit quieter than the kumhos, not the cheapest option though!

I get good grip and mileage out of Michelin Pilot Sport 2, not the cheapest, but have never let me down in the wet, and that other weather we occasionally get here in the UK :)

Tyres are very personal and everyone (including me) will give their advice.

I’ve always used Goodyear Eagle F1’s, they’re great in both the dry and wet and I think EVO rated them No. 1 in a recent test.

Have these on the A3, and Michelins on the A6 too, over the years I have tried Yokohama's, Goodyears, Pirelli's, and they have always been the best alround tyre I have fitted to any car
