Have traded in (pretty much read as thrown away!) my Octavia vRS for a 2003 Tdi Sport estate in a silvery green (light green) and hopefully pick it up this weekend. Its got cruise control and factory fitted sunroof as extras (can't remember what else).
It's done 84k with full VW service history. On the test drive it seemed mint and drove like new and far better than my Octavia with 70k on the clock.
When I get it should there be anything I take it to my garage for to get checked over? The biggest concern is what i've read on here is the suspension going and costing a fortune. Is there anything else to look out for?
Also thinking of getting it remapped by Jabba but seem to be indifferent views on here as to whether it's worth it. I had the vRS mapped with a generic map not by Jabba and it's been a nightmare trying to get it right so will only be interested in Jabbas custom map now where its all done there and then.
