Advice on 2 x Audi 100's ~ 1981 & 1983 ?

Hi just joined :)

Not sure of future plans yet, but I've had my two Audi 100 automatics ca. 1981 - 1983 (pics below) for the past 20 odd years and they've been the best and most reliable motoring I've ever known - bar none ! ;)

It's probably all of 5/6 years or so since I saw the last one too, but I was wondering if anyone could help out with any info on them please....spares (especially panels as the tin worm's been busy !) other enthusiasts/ repairers and so on ? How they kept running all that time without any problems at all other than the routine stuff I shall never know ! The gearboxes and the power steering were amazing - not a murmur !

Really would break my heart if I had to let them go - they've been in storage in Devon for the past 2/3 years.

Hi, I have an Audi 100/1983 that had run on road till december. Maybe you can give me some info about price list( when you have bought) , for insurence use.

Ce faci gagiule ? De unde esti ? Eu sunt din Bacau ...bucuros ca sunt si alti romani pe acest forum ! Am avut si eu un a6 2.5 Tdi, inca i-mi pare rau dupa ce l-am vandut, fiind ca a fost cea mai reliabila masina pe care am avut-o, la 154000 mile, mergea mai bine ca atunci cand am cumparat-o ! Si avea toate optiunile ! Acum conduc un a4 2.5 Tdi Quattro 6 viteze si e mult mai sofisticat si greu de intretinut si performanta nu este asa de mult diferita...Sa traiesti.

Constanta prietene, din pacate mi-a lovit unu masina si ma cert cu astia de la asigurari, este dauna totala iar pretul unui audi 100 /tip 44 /1983 la care calculeaza ei despagubirea este de 17000 euro.Eu stiu ca a fost undeva pe la 27000 dm adica 23000 euro, deci caut informatii despre pretul real , sa le dau peste bot.

Hi, Audi lover
I am in a deep trouble; I need for your help. A drank driver destroy my Audi 100, type 44, bj 1983, engine WH 1924, metallic red, and now I am in open fight with insurance about the right price for the car ( new one when it was sold). I have found a scanned file somewhere on one topic from UK with sale price for this car at 1983. Do you remember where or have some brochures?
A scanner file will be great.
