ibiza 1.2 intermittant oil pressure light

In the last 3 months the oil pressure light has come on intermittantly a couple of times on my ibiza 1.2 S (2002)- garage has done diagnostics but nothing showing.

Any suggestions?

had simular problem on a fabia a few years back.Oil pressure sensor is most likely faulting periodically.It will have a slight crack in it on the inner insualtion.Either oil is passing slightly causing electrical connection problem or water is getting in and shorting acrosss.either way a new one should clear the fault.
A good car parts shop should be able to source one.Seat will charge a fortune as I'm finding out at moment with my sons 2004 1.2 sx model.
