Hi! I recently purchased a 93 Vento 2.0GL and I have two unrelated questions.

1. The interior fan works fine, but when the switch is in the "off" position the fan makes a squeaky noise, and it sounds as if it is still moving slightly. Is this a problem with the switch or the fan?

2. It has automatic transmission with 184,000kms. Going from park to reverse the transmission engages right away, but sometimes (more often than not) when going from park to drive or reverse to drive, the transmission will hesitate before going into gear. I can live with this, but I'm wondering if changing the ATF will make any difference? I don't know how often (if ever) the ATF has been changed. At this point is it better not to mess with it, or should I go ahead and have the ATF changed? Is there a filter with this model that also needs replaced?

Thanks! Jeff

the fan will still move slightly when driving as airflow will still be travelling along the pipes if its squeaking the bearings in the motor might be noisy, might be able to wd40 it but dont quote me on that!!
