Hi,

I have an Audi A3 2.0l TDi dpf (170ps) on 57 plate. It currently has an Audi Symphony 6cd unit with steering wheel controls. I want to swap it for the Audi DVD Navigation Plus system which also requires a 6 cd changer in the glove box.

Does anyone know or recommend any garage or specialists who can do this work?

Thanks,

EZPixs

cant recommend them as i have never used them, but try these for prices

http://www.vwcruise.com/9.html
or
http://www.tclsatnav.com/index_014.htm

you could also have a stab at it yourself, it would be cheaper, and the self satisfaction would be immense :) there are loads of quides around about how to do it.

have a browse around HERE (http://www.navplus.us/forums/) for advice, and many guides etc :)

Thank you for the information - I have made enquiries with Hazzydayz and hopefully they will reply soon. In the past I always did my own work, but alas I'm far to busy with computers these days.

Thanks again

Just to let you know that I had the sat nav and a cd changer fitted by Hazzydayz Ltd. The work was done within 2 days of me contacting them and they came to me!!. Definately customer focused.

I have to admit, looking at their website I am VERY impressed. They look very good and they have very reasonable prices. I was thinking of getting a HID kit installed to my A3 as the performance of the standard lights is pretty poor, even with better bulbs. Might give them call.

Unfortunately, I'd have to take my car to Glasgow. The only problem with that is - when you're travelling to a place they have a workshop, to then have to pay an extra £50 is a bit on the pricey side. Still, £200 for a guaranteed HID install isn't bad.

I was also thinking of getting a remap for my car if it's worth it, so maybe I could kill two birds with one stone.

Its not that cheap! Sat-navs are only £400 if bought from ebay and they dont take very long to fit!!

Hmm, don't know if I would trust them off fleabay. 1st or 2nd Hand one? If it was a well priced new unit I would definately think about it. Think I might go troll fleabay just now before I have to start doing some work! :)

The units from Hazzydays WILL NOT be brand new. Everyone who retro-fits these is supplying used or recon units. I bought one for my Dad from ebay, cost was £390. Its been installed for over 18 trouble free months.

Ah, thats good to know. Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep an eye out for a good condition unit then. :)
