side lights in indicators

hi, i've seen a few mk2 big bumper golfs with the side lights in the clear indicators with the indicators being able to work aswell, Has anyone done this mod or know how to do it? picks would be good.

Most aftermarket mk2 indicators come with the function to do this mate. All it is is an extra hole in the back of the unit with a side light bulb pushed through in a rubber grommet. You could probably do it yourself by drilling the back of your indicators and removing the side lights from your headlights and pushing them through. You would need to be running clear indicators for it to work though, with orange indicator bulbs, those silver ones that flash orange are the best.
