About to buy the above car (110K miles). Found out prev owner had cambelt snap on them 7 months ago. Garage did compression test - but no result recorded! They've been driving it for 7 months and it seems to go 'OK'. I saw it in the dark so maybe wasn't too sure how smokey it was!
Am I a mug to pay £250 for it (left £30 deposit) with 2 months MOT - it seems solid and everything else is in reasonable condition.
