Red Brake warning ! on DIS

Hi

Just bought A4 B7 when I turn the ignition on I get a loud bleep and a large red symbol flashing with the word BRAKE underneath it then it just disappears and everthing seems normal. This error does not happen all of the time, is it something I should be worried about, :aargh4: any information greatly appreciated.

I assume (at least i hope) you have sorted this by now, however surely a trip to your dealer would be the obvious answer?

Main dealer sorted the problem, some modification was required to wiring loom behind the dash. puuuurfect now, thanx for reply
