I still have an emotional attachment to the K 70 of my childhood. Anyone else here? The K 70 still has an international following. Publications write about it from time to time - even Volkswagen Driver featured it not too long ago; if that says something. There are currently even some enthusiasts in the US who got hold of some K 70's; though it was officially never sold there. Since it was VW's first adventure into watercooling and front wheel drive, leading into the era of the Golf and Passat, I posted an article recently on my website recapping those achievments. It's on "theengageddriver.squarespace.com" if you're interested. Enjoy, and let me know if you have more input!

Verry interesting , did not know they built anything else apart from beatlle and few porsches but branded as their own ! Mind you, i am only 30 years old so the cars of my childhood were a bunch of rusty audi s1 and s2 !
