A6 MMI - Good Phone from Nokia

Reporting the below in the correct place!

Have used this forum for research a few times and thought I should give something back!! I have a 2005 Audi A6 with the full Sat NAv MMI and telephone system. Until recently I carried around an old Nokia which had a fixed connection.

I upgraded to a Nokia N93 or N95 (can't remember which) about a year ago and thought I would rely on bluetooth - that was a disaster so I took the phone back and got the next (still boring old) model from Nokia.

Now...I have recently got a Nokia 6500s and can confirm full compatability with the MMI - its brilliant! This phone is not on the latest audi list - which is always out of sync with phone production etc!

Anyway - great phone - works great - go buy one.

dont be to despondant I happen to know the new nokia phones dont work with some of there own car kits let alone car factory fit systems. but when they do work there great.

I had a number of problems with blue tooth till i went back to an older phone Nokia 6021 or 6310I and ck7W car kit.:beerchug:
