Running on or Dieseling. This is common with the 2E3 when not correctly set up or the 3-4 point unit has been bodged as this is the ignition off overrun/shut down fuel cut for economy and anti dieseling.

what speed ...... the point is when i come back home & park my car ..... the moment i turn off the key the motor keeps struggle as if the car is going to start again then stops .........

How many revs are showing on the rev counter when the engine is ticking over, at idle?

i had this on my golf and my mums golf, it would run on for a while then backfire, also it would idle at about 3000 rpm! it turned out to be in both cases a wire had come off the back of the carb which has something to do with controlling the idle speed
