Hi, anyone got any ideas here.....?
I've got a 2001 A8 2.8 with noisy and notchy power steering. My mechanic has checked it over and can't find anything strange, although he did think that the rack might be at fault - it's not howling, but just makes more noise than normal, and sounds like it's working too hard - do the pumps or racks cause trouble on this model and has anyone else had similar trouble?:confused:
