front bumper mod a3

could anyone tell me if the bumper and grill off a 2005 onwards a3 will go on a 2004 a3 im sure this question must have come up before
i would be grate full for any info as im thinking of buying an 04 but i think the front end looks a bit dated

Hi hazhammy,

I think you can do the front bumper mod but you need a new front bumper (pretty obvious :P) and a new bonet.

i have had a closer look at the pic of an a3 2006 quattro i use to own and a pic of the 2004 im interested in and the grill on the 04 does looker wider than that of the 06 at first i thought it may look wider because its thinner but i think your probably right

Yeah you need bonnet and bumper to do that mod. Expensive unless you find a rear ender at a scrappy.

decided not to bother with the a3 and have bought an 03 18t avante
so thats solved that problem
