Anyone tried to fit a boot mounted cycle rack to an A4.
I've tried a couple but they both seemed to rest on the top of the bumper and I'm not sure I want to put all the weight on that.

I did get a quote for fitting a towbar but at 300 + vat for a car I might only have for 3 year seemed a bit steep.

I have a Boot bike rack in the garage somewhere and when i tried to fit this to the A4 it seemed that there was far too much wieght on the boot lid... so i opt'ed for another option...

Luckly i / my dad has a few roof racks (he has an A4 also) with the bike mounts..

Photo Below of the bikes on the roof of mine..

The ones i have are made by Thule UK.

Thanks for the ideas guys, unfortunatley I dont think my DIY skills are up to fitting my own towbar, and I havn't got a roof, I suppose I should have posted in the cabrio section.
